Arrowhead EMS Association Executive Director

Arrowhead EMS Association, Inc. is a private non-profit organization serving emergency medical systems in Northeast MN and Douglas County, WI. We seek a capable Executive Director to provide organizational leadership and oversee all aspects of the Association’s operations.

Responsibilities include: formulating objectives to meet annual goals; developing grant applications and providing oversight of programs; preparing and controlling the budget; effectively representing the Association to its members and contractors; oversight of educational programs including an annual regional conference; oversight of tower and radio communications network; facilitating the work of the Board of Directors through meetings and regular communication.

Successful candidates will possess an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the responsibilities listed above. A relevant bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years’ experience in a management capacity within the Healthcare/EMS industry is preferred. Candidates must also possess extensive knowledge of EMS care delivery, grant funded programs, the EMS legal/regulatory environment, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and be able to work independently and interdependently with diverse groups. Valid drivers’ license and willingness to travel is required.
