Takes responsibility for the development, implementation and maintenance of all performance improvement, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and quality initiatives and activities for HealthEast Medical Transportation while continually monitoring and meeting the regulatory, statutory and clinical requirements. Maintains operations database, scorecard and metrics of HealthEast Medical Transportation. Manages incident tracking through 9th Brain. Reviews incidents and ambulance runs through quality protocols. Supports the equipment committee in evaluating new equipment in order to make recommendations on continued use of equipment and supplies. Manages the Road Safety program and Service Excellence initiatives related to quality. Manages and coordinates the Peer Review Program and activities. Manages the patient and customer satisfaction surveys and the relationships with the appropriate vendors. Assists in the coordination, maintenance and oversight of the Clinical Guidelines and Peer Review committee in collaboration with the Office of the Medical Director. Coordinates clinical remediation of personnel under review by the Medical Director. years of healthcare experience working with Quality Improvement initiative, CQI/QA analysis and reporting required. Associates degree in Business/Health related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.3 years of EMS background strongly preferred.
