Brian began his Paramedic career in Texas in 1992. Upon moving to Minnesota in 1996 Brian has served our local communities and the State of Minnesota in many roles:  Northfield Hospital + Clinics EMS Chief/Paramedic; Nerstrand Fire & Rescue Firefighter/First Responder; South Metro SWAT Crisis Negotiator; Minnesota Incident Management Team Member; as well as many other local and state board positions.

Brian is dedicated to the community and volunteers many hours of time teaching tactical medical care to first responders in Dakota County and Southeast Minnesota as well as developing and managing mock crash events for Northfield and Randolph High Schools. Brian has been a key player in improving EMS care and safety in the Northfield area and all of Minnesota. Northfield Hospital + Clinics is proud to Nominate him as a Star of Life.
