Dane Meyer has been a member of Cottonwood Ambulance Service since 1992 and served as Director of the squad for 18+ years. Since 1992 he attained his paramedic and has been serving in that capacity for 20 years.
He has been employed at a full-time service besides his volunteer status allowing him to practice his skills on a regular basis so that he has the experience to provide the best care possible to our patients. He has been a devoted leader to the squad and was a crucial part of starting the ALS services to our service area, along with his hours of devotion to the service. Dane also serves in many other areas of EMS and is held many leadership positions and is the current Vice President of the Minnesota Ambulance Association.
Dane resides near Cottonwood with his wife Shelly, where they farm and raised their 4 children Ashley, Zack, Chelsey, & Mallory. He wears many hats in his off time but has been truly dedicated to EMS for the state of MN and we are grateful for his service to our community.
