Hillary Grodevant has dedicated her career to emergency medical services (EMS), serving as an Assistant Supervisor and paramedic with Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service. With 26 years in EMS and 23 years at Mayo, she is known for her exceptional skills, leadership, and commitment to patient care.

Growing up in a rural farming community in southeastern Minnesota, Hillary began her EMS journey as an EMT before becoming a paramedic three years later. Over the years, she has taken on multiple roles, including Field Training Officer and Assistant Supervisor, while contributing to various committees and projects. Hillary takes great pride in her work, stating, "I’m honored to care for our patients and support our team."

Operations Manager Kate describes Hillary as a dedicated leader who balances fairness and professionalism. "She approaches decisions objectively, ensuring the best patient care and crew utilization. Hillary’s integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to lead with compassion make her an invaluable asset. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to support our crews, leaving a lasting impact on our operations."

Outside of work, Hillary enjoys spending time with her husband and three cats. She loves nature, stargazing, old-school video games, motorcycles, ATVs, and downhill skiing.
