Jamie Lynn Jacobson was born in Burbank, California and was raised in Thousand Oaks, California.  She started her career in EMS in 2007 eventually obtaining her paramedic and her Bachelors Degree in Psychology while in California.  She married her husband Darin and they have 4 children Kiana, Caitlyn, Sawyer and Shay.  She moved to Minnesota and started her career with Sanford Ambulance in Thief River Falls, Minnesota as the Operations Manager in June 2016. 

Her time away from EMS she enjoys time with her family, their pet Corgi Jack, and cat Bryan.  She enjoys traveling, cooking and baking when she isn’t going to the children’s activities or sporting events.  She will be receiving her MBA from St. Cloud State University in February 2025. 

Jamie is being nominated for the MN Star of Life for her continued dedication and commitment to EMS, her staff and the communities in which she serves.
