Tricia Riggott began her EMS career in 2004 with Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service and now serves as a Critical Care Paramedic. Originally from Plymouth, IA, a town of about 400 people, she was inspired by her father, a volunteer firefighter and first responder. Starting at a local fire department, she quickly discovered her passion for emergency medicine.

Operations Manager Kate describes Tricia as a dedicated professional who consistently goes above and beyond. "She embodies perseverance and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Even in the face of challenges, Tricia stays focused on delivering the best outcomes for both our team and the patients we serve. Her contributions make her truly deserving of the MN Star of Life recognition."

Reflecting on her career, Tricia shares, "Being a paramedic has been incredibly rewarding, especially my time as a flight paramedic. It allowed me to provide critical care and work alongside some of the most skilled clinicians in pre-hospital medicine. Their dedication has shaped me into the provider I am today."

Outside of work, Tricia finds her greatest joy as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her husband, Travis, live in southern Minnesota, where they enjoy boating on the Mississippi River with family and friends.

Congratulations, Tricia, on being a 2025 Minnesota Star of Life recipient!
