The purpose of this position is to manage activities involved with the sales, development and delivery of Ridgewater’s advanced healthcare-related training so as to ensure that Ridgewater College remains the leader in advanced healthcare workforce training in the region. The incumbent will leverage the college’s investment in equipment and resources, including both high- and low-fidelity simulation, and history for excellent healthcare training, in a manner that will advance the quality of care in the region through customized training solutions. Duties include, but are not limited to, selling simulation courses/training to health care related business & industry, management and coordination of simulation and training-related resources, involvement in the healthcare and education industries, and development and delivery of training programs. The applicant (the employee) should demonstrate a knowledge of and interest in diverse cultures and populations. Some travel is necessary (20%)

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum one year experience with medical training or education utilizing active learning methods
  • Two years teaching/training experience
  • Experience with project management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Travel is required, including some overnight and extended stays


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
  • PALS, PEARS, CALS, NRP, or ACLS Instructor Certified
  • Team STEPPS Certification
  • Experience with healthcare simulation technology or methodology
  • Two years sales experience
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Valid Class A driver’s license or ability to obtain one
