This video covers the history and purpose of community paramedics. The community paramedic is a seasoned emergency medical services (EMS) professional who supports primary care and chronic disease management. When they are not doing 911 response, community paramedics assist with patient care, doing house calls, safety assessments, medication assessment and more, especially for patients who are vulnerable.
