The Minnesota Ambulance Association's Rural Sustainability working group identified community engagement, specifically media interactions, as an area where rural EMS agencies could benefit from additional tools and resources that may be otherwise unavailable to them, or difficult to navigate without a dedicated PR professional. Through the Flex Grant, the Rural Sustainability group engaged with Megan Mulholand, owner of Compass Communications and long time EMS Champion, to create a toolkit to provide on-demand support for agencies interested in engaging with the media in a more meaningful or routine way.
We hope you enjoy this media kit, and the resources provided within. If you have suggestions for additional tools and resources, please let us know!
