Description: The Minnesota Medical Directors Course provides an overview of the EMS Medical Directors role and responsibilities as outlined in Statute and based upon best practice. The Course is intended to provide an understanding of issues faced by an EMS Medical Director along with instilling an enhances sense of confidence in the ability to provide medical oversight. The Course includes a Communication Pathway which describes five steps EMS Medical Directors can take to contribute to a successful ambulance service
